2 DRAWER TOOLBOX

This project was made for our recent Extravaganza.
This is an event where you learn 5 new projects and make and take them home.  Nice blokey product had chocolate tablets in the bottom drawer and tools in the top as per the ones on the  front. The black sheets are the "top Note" die  for the Stampin'Up!Ⓡ Bigshot, it has so many uses.

GLAM GLUE STICKS

With our fabulous new DSP called "Newsprint" here is a neat idea to cover glue sticks.  Great gift idea.  Other side is like newsprint, such a cool paper at $20.50 for 12 sheets double sided and 2 of each design.

Well home now so have my puppy IRL which is much better, but my little photo album is in my bag for my next trip.  Nice to be back blogging thanks for well wishes

CUTE BOX OF CARDS

Made from the scallop envelope die on the big shot this box contains 8 cards.   The faux suede flower on the front to decorate and the branches from the bird on a branch punch.  The cards each have the little teacups on them.  The trio flower punch was used for the flowers and we hand drew in the stalks and leaves with old olive marker pen.

STAMPIN UP CONVENTION SWAP 2010

This is my Stampin' Up!Ⓡ Convention Swap a "Torso shaped tag".   Stamped all over with gratituitous Stampin' Up!Ⓡ background stamp with Soft suede ink on soft suede cardstock.
All in a flutter butterfly stamp which is embossed with gold and also the tiny tag heart punched with the new tiny heart punch, tiny tag printed with "Convention 2010" and the "SU" letters cut out on the Big shot our new die cutting machine with the alphabet set.
Soft suede polka dot grosgrain ribbon at the top secured with linen thread.

ALTERED TAGS

Altered tags are SOOO cool to make and such a great gift idea.   From a basic luggage tag you can create masterpieces and they look awesome instead of a card on a gift.
This was made by Christine and she used Stampin' Up!Ⓡ "Sense of time stamp set" and all in a flutter stamp butterfly and several inks to crete the background.

ATC CARDS THIS WEEKS THEME "ANIMALS"

These are turning out to be so much fun, and a great challenge for us to come up with ideas.   Our next theme is real easy we take turns at choosing the theme it is "flowers".  WOW there are hundreds of choices

ALTERED FILE FOLDER

This was one of the projects at this weeks craft class.
We covered the backing card from our Designer paper
and fixed it to 4 x manilla or vanilla folders.  Tags on the top with task management
A very useful file to have in a bookshelf or on your desk to sort things to do.  The label is Lots of tags die for the big shot, and the letter from "timeless type junior alphabet" was cut in card then we added special effects

ALTERED TAGS

This is a 5 minute effort, but I have just got a box of 1000 tags and we are going to have SO much fun with them at our next craft days.   Such handy tags to put on gifts, or you can use them in albums and journal the back of them.  Photos can be put on them.   They look great vintage, or bright, anything goes.

If you are keen to get some tags and have fun, I have them at just 10 cents each, you just apply your imagination.

The 3 in 1 bird punch is SO cool.  The curly label punch closure, this is like a mini top note.

WRITING COMPENDIUM

This is tonights project which I made up a sample for my next class.   Made from A4 sheet of cardstock in this case lovely lilac.  Used the new vintage vogue stamp set which is fabulous. Basic grey stamp pad and lovely lilac marker pen.  Very easy to make and takes an A6 writing pad and small envelopes.  Could also put a pen in the centre fold.
Velcro forms the closure and it makes a very useful gift idea.

2ND ATC CARD

ATC cards are cool as they can be modern, bright, vintage or anything in between.  Here I used tissue paper and stamped it with the background Stampin' Up!Ⓡ stamp called Gratuitous which is gorgeous.  Glued to the card, it gives nice texture (a faux linen look).  The edges were sponged with classic black.

MINI ALBUM

This was made with small wage envelopes, covered with desginer papers.   Could even use it for ATC cards.  Our next craft class we are swapping ATC cards, so I have made 7 cards, and will end up with 6 new ones.   The theme is french.  I used raspberry tart designer paper and old olive cardstock.  The front and back covers are coasters, which gives it a nice firm binding, held together with craft rings.  Check the faux buckle a square paper clip & faux stitching.

TOP NOTE FRAME CARD

Well normally this black frame would be discarded, but the top note which I cut from the card I used on a project and decided to insert white card inside this frame and make another card.  This ribbon rose is a cool idea we got from Stampin' Up!Ⓡ so this is my dramatic birthday card.  I love strong colours. I put another from the "Lovely as a tree" stamp set on the back.

APPLE?

Simply wrapped a handmade soap ball (you could use a Terry's orange) in green tissue, and made some leaves from cardstock through the crimper and the butterfly was stamped with markers "all in a flutter" from the new Autumn Mini catalogue.   You can so easily using Stampin' Up!Ⓡ materials turn an ordinary gift into something extraordinary.  Have fun.

PURSE BAG FOR TREATS

This bag is really easy, it uses a standard block bottom paper bag and half an sheet of Not quite navy cardstock, bella bleu designer paper, with new bird on a branch punch (from the new Autumn Mini Catalogue)

To make the handle stand up glue the vanilla grosgrain ribbon to strip vanilla cardstock, otherwise the handle flops.

CUP CAKE BOX

So cute these are very easy to make.  Pretty in pink cardstock, close to cocoa designer paper.  The stamped cup cake is from "wagon full of fun" stamp last mini catalogue and the edge of the box flaps were punched with the eyelet border punch code 113692 $35.95.   A little dazzling diamonds was put on the top of the candle.  Could easily add a handle. This box cuts out of 1 x A4 sheet of card

PURSE BAG

Don't you love purse bags, this I chose a plainer designer paper to give a different look.
The girls loved the purse bags at todays workshop. Hodgepodge hardware buckle and faux stitching detail, and that lovely "close to cocoa" satin ribbon if my favourite.

MEMO CUBE

This was made using Stampin' Up!Ⓡ chocolate chip (my favourite cardstock)and whisper white. I rollered the whisper white and then handmade a flower for the top with cardstock which is 2" wide and folded in half lengthwise, wet and then from a tight roll in the centre is just folded around in circles to form petals. Coloured in softly with a sponge dauber or you could use coloured cardstock.

MY VERY FIRST ATC CARD

This is the very first ATC card I made and it took all of 5 minutes to complete. I used a Stampin' Up!Ⓡ stamp set called "fresh cuts" and close to cocoa cardstock, chocolate chip stamp pad, sponged the edges, and matted to chocolate chip cardstock. Made this 25 day of March (my mothers 88th birthday) 2010.
