KRAFT VINTAGE TAGS

Tags base was crumbcake cardstock.  Adhered to that was the brown sheet of candlelight designer series paper and it was embossed with the lacy brocade folder and then sanded to show that detail.  Leaves were moulded and they were fussy cuts from the french foliage stamp set, the sentiment was from the christmas from the heart stamp set and tied up with the crumbcake taffeta ribbon.  A little victorian lace to add detail.

STACK OF BOXES

This is made from our kraft boxes which come in packs of 4 for $5.95NZ.  The bottom box has had panels of core'dinations cardstock which has been embossed with the woodgrain folder and sanded for texture.  the top two are matted with candlelight christmas designer series paper.  A window has been cut with the designer punch and a new flourish frame has been pressed in versamark and embossed in gold to take it from silver to gold to co-ordinate. The bird is made from the elegant bird die in champagne glimmer paper double layer for the wings to give them more body and the body of the bird has 2 layers of white cardstock inside the glimmer paper.  The bird is nestled into some early espresso tulle.  I think the rest is self explainatory.

HANDBAG

This bag was so easy I wanted the base to be 5" x 3" a decent size to hold a worthwhile gift.
Take a sheet of designer series paper 12x12 and scor at 3 1/2" and 8 1/2" one way and turn and scor at 4 1/2" and 7 1/2" the other way.  From the 4 corner sections cut away all but 1/2" from the scor line.  mitre cut into the scor line from the 1/2" and seal down that 1/2" seam top and bottom to the body of the bag which is the front and back.   the side panels are now adhered with sticky strip to the sealed seam.  From the piece you cut out of the corners punch out 4 blossom punch flowers & brad them together. Spray with water, scrunch up one flower at a time until it is all scrunched, then open it gently till you are happy with the look. Cut out a holiday framelet for the closure fold in half, put a ribbon through for the handles and attach to the back half of the topper.  Sticky strip that back part to the bag and pinch the sides and close the top of the bag & velcro close the bag.

CORRUGATED TAG

This is a very large tag made from a corrugated cardboard carton flap.  Tore off some of the top layer to expose the corrugations.  Painted it with stazon white re-inker lightly to make it shabby chic.  The moulded flowers are from watercolour winter stamp set, and the frame is the designer frames rectangular one with the sentiment from Beautiful season.  The little bee on the corner of the tag is from natures walk.

TRIPLE HANGER TAG

This was made with the new Oval Accent bigz die which I used card covered with candlelight specialty designer paper and then embossed it after I cut it and sanded off the high spots, layered on an apothecary accent framelet which was also embossed for texture, then a designer oval frame which had been torn around the outside and punched out of the centre.  The textured moulded flowers were made using the gel pen and a piercing mat to curve the petals.
